The NGO RIF/WPD (Rano Iankinan'ny Fampandrosoana / Water Pillar of Development) Madagascar is an organisation committed to making equitable water accessible to communities. Aware of the challenges of internal water resources and management, we have a strong ambition to invest in technological innovations in the global context of water management.
This involves transforming all water resources for all uses - drinking water and production waterto ensure
the sustainable development of our citizens.
Our vision is anchored in contributing to the total control of water in Madagascar for the well-being of the community.
The NGO RIF/ WPD, an organisation incorporated under Malagasy law, is committed to participating in the » Total water control in Madagascar » by defining the following four objectives:
Promoting integrated water resource management and encouraging access to water
Adapting to climate change resilience and preventing water-related disasters to ensure water security.
Supporting sustainable agriculture through the responsible use of water, while guaranteeing food security.
Stimulating citizen participation and technological innovation in the global context of water management.

RIF/WPD's organizational structure guarantees strategic decision-making at Board level, efficient execution through the Executive Management and precise coordination at operational level with the central team and sub-basin coordination teams. In this way, our RIF/WPD organization can operate in an integrated and holistic way to achieve its objectives of preserving and sustainably managing water resources.
